The Latest Happenings

Since returning to the great state of MT, I have been getting hives again. So I finally called and made an appointment with the doctor to see if she had any ideas and if she could give me some medicine that might help. I went to see the friendly Lt at the on-base clinic and she cheerfully informed me that she has no idea why I'm getting not only hives but a bright red rash over most of my arms, legs and back. She then went to talk to her superior and came back after reading some of her handy medical book and told me she still wasn't sure what it was so she was going to prescribe me some medicine to help the itch go away. When asked if I should not go to work for a while I told her I was perfectly fine to continue working since I was sure the medicine she prescribed would help. Well, the medicine has helped to take the itch away...... but with the itch now gone, I now don't sleep at my required sleeping times anymore. The constant headache and the neckache that come as side effects that I was assured are perfectly normal are constant companions as I try to sleep for more than three hours a night. So, I write you this brief update about what has been happening for me since my leave as I should be sleeping and preparing for work tomorrow morning. But once again, I feel tired then when I try to sleep, my brain goes haywire and I can't sleep for a while. I guess its not bad though. I have been able to talk to more people than I would normally talk to and see people I haven't seen in forever. So it's not all complaining. There is always some good to come from every bad thing. I just have to keep reminding myself to look for it and have the paitience for God to show it to me sometimes. Also, I went to the MT state fair when I got back. My friend Sarah and I had our picture characture drawn. I thought I would share it with you. It made us both laugh. Hope it does the same for you.

Next are a few pictures I meant to put up with my vacation pictures...... oops...

This one's for Becky. Too funny!

This one's too cute! I was riding in the back of the expedition and looked up at Kara and Isaiah and this is the sight that greeted me. She was holding on to his car seat like she didn't want to get too far away from her cousin! It was too cute. I had to share it with you.
Sorry it's kind of blurry. I took it on my phone in a moving vehicle...
