Easter

Easter was great. I was invited to church with a friend and so I went to the Chapel services with her. Then a man that works here on base asked me and some friends over for an Easter lunch. It was so good. I am so thankful that I was given a home cooked meal for the day and a place to go and relax with a family. He has two daughters about my age so it was like going home to my own family. I can't wait until I can show a new airman kindness and give them a place to go for a holiday that they wish they could be at home for. Maybe I'll be able to help ease someone else's homesickness someday. But for now I am grateful for the people that are willing to take new airmen into their houses and let them celebrate the holidays with their family.
