Update
Well, here goes... I joined the Air Force in June, went through Basic Training (BMT), graduated July 27, and am currently in Tech School for Security Forces. I am learning how to be a cop in the Air Force in other words. I do enjoy some of the training, but there are times when I just hate it and want to go home and go to college instead. But most of the time those are just bad days that are better by the next day. It is hard training though. I just got back from Camp Bullis shich is part of the training, where they teach you about the job to be done while deployed. Some of what Brandon did in his training to deploy is what I do every day. I have shot and qualified on five different weapons. The machine guns are my favorite to fire, but throwing the hand grenade is also pretty fun. I shot the M9 pistol, and the M16/M4 rifle. I didn't get to shoot the grenade launcher because I had an allergic reaction that day, so I never was able to. I had to go through self defense courses, and courses on how to keep your weapon from being taken by someone else. It is fun... most days... so I am enjoying the training for the most part. It is so encouraging to have my family praying for me, and there to talk to me whenever I need them on my bad days. I am going home for Christmas in a few days and can't wait to see my family for those ten days. That is the thought that got me through the hardest days of training. "I get to see my family in only _____ days!" I have made so many friends here and can't wait to go to Montana to make even more new friends. I am supposed to graduate from my Tech School on January 8, than I will be able to go home for another few days to help my recruiter and be with Mom, Dad, Becky, and Abby(and the new baby). I can't wait to see them all again. Just seeing them when they came for my BMT graduation was enough to help me when I needed encouragment during the first days of Tech School. I was so homesick during those first days, and still am some days. I just can't wait to see the new house and see all the people from church that have captured my heart and made me into a spoiled relative. Only a little while left until I go to Montana and start the real fun of not being in training anymore but actually working and enjoying it.

to put a picture on your posts...
when you are posting there is an icon that looks like a photo of a mountain with blue sky. click that then click image from computer and browse...depending on where your image is stored (jump drive, desktop, etc) you just hit the down arrow until you find the place where the picture is and hit open on the picture. Then you hit upload image and then done. You can use the add another image button to add up to 5 images at a time without having to do it one at a time... Hope this helps but if not, I'll help you more when i see you.
to adda link list or pictures on the side bar like on mine...
hit settings
then Template
then Add page element (the smaller one is for the side bar the larger one is for the bottom of the page like where that huge one of Abby is on my page)
Click link list and add to blog
then where it says new site URL, type my web address
where it says new site name, type Becky's blog or Becky's place or whatever you want it to say...
Then "save changes"
and "save" on the new page and there it is...
To add a picture to the side bar, click the add image button instead of the add link list.
